Not only creating a playground and competition for employees, the Technical Sports Festival in 2022 organized by GIS Cambodia also instills the spirit of solidarity and determination to overcome all difficulties to complete tasks for the Skill. GIS is also a pioneer in organizing technical sports events in the market.

The Technical Sports Festival in 2022 is both a playground and an opportunity for technical to connect, practice, improve their professional qualifications and better coordinate in the performance of tasks. Attending the sports festival were 88 contestants from 22 teams, representing more than 600 GIS technical personnel nationwide.

At the opening ceremony on March 26, 2022, Mr. Vu Quang Trung – Director of GIS emphasized: “This is a necessary job and must be maintained regularly.Especially in the growing period of business development, it requires us to be thorough and timely in the implementation of technical work in the market.”

The sports festival was divided into 04 groups (A, B, C, D) and selected 04 teams with the best results to participate in the final. At the Sports Festival, the teams have to complete 02 contents of the theory and practical exams. These contents are built on the main operations of the technical force, which are network operation and exploitation and telecommunications infrastructure construction and installation.

The theory exam consists of 30 questions revolving around issues of CDBR, M&E, asset management, transmission, radio and infrastructure construction. With the practical part, the teams must show the spirit of solidarity and coordination to complete the given content.

After 10 days of fierce competition, 22 branches of GIS Company successfully completed the content of the exam both in theory as well as in practice.The final results are as follows :

The biggest success of the Technical Sports Festival in 2022 is to create a playground for teams to demonstrate their high professional quality and determination to win the competition. They created a dramatic chase on the leader boards and the results were determined only in the last team’s turn.
