GIS focus on training source staff toward knowledge best management
From October 25-30, 2021, GIS Company held the first training course for resource managers. The trainees are 08 out of 24 employees who are heads deputy heads of technical departments and excellent employees selected by the company interview council from 22 branches. GIS training activities, in addition to equipping managers with knowledge, skills, vision, mission, and core values, are also aimed at the long-term common goal, which is to advance to knowledge based management, ensuring ensure customer requirements are satisfied.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu Quang Trung – General Director of GIS shared: “You are the best people who have been carefully selected to join the company’s first source class, ready to be dispatched to other units. position in the Company. With the knowledge about technical management equipped today when returning to the unit, I hope you will use it well to complete the assigned work.
He also said that this is just the beginning of the company’s resource planning training. GIS pays special attention and will also organize many training courses for the next class of managers.
GIS training activities are aimed at the common and long-term goal that VCC will move towards knowledge based management to ensure satisfaction of customers’ requirements. Not only for managers, training activities for employees will be promoted, accompanied by thorough implementation of enforcement policies, which is one of the three strategic solutions that VCC is pursuing: “Strategy – People – Execution ”, “People – Process – Technology – Administration” and “Selling channel – Deployment channel – Quality control channel”.
The trainers who train the class of direct source staff are the Board of Directors of the Company and the heads of vertical units. During the training period, the trainees have improved their background knowledge about management and handling situations during the performance of their duties at the unit. Besides, being trained on the mandatory regulatory processes for a management officer as well as specific regulations on finance, personnel, planning, how to control and operate the branch’s technical KPI’s.
This training course GIS aims to equip basic knowledge on management and commanding skills for leaders and unify the perception in leadership management throughout the Company. to the branch.
Accordingly, it is required that after completing the training course, 100% of employees understand the basic knowledge of leadership management at the unit and apply the trained knowledge to guide, answer and directing work to junior staff.
After 05 days of serious training with a large amount of knowledge, the GIS General Director congratulated the students at the closing ceremony, saying: “With today’s knowledge plus the actual working process. many problems will arise and you will have to learn more on the job. After doing the actual work, you will also know what additional knowledge you need. At that time, the company will have more specialized skills classes to support you.”
He emphasized that after the end of this course, it is possible that some personnel will be appointed as Directors of the units, some will still do the old jobs, but he believes that today’s knowledge is equipped equipment will help students complete the task well regardless of position.
